Borgo Antico, a modern day beauty.
A divine pleasure in visiting the beautiful Fattoria di Casalbosco: a historical villa, dated back to the 18th century home of Francesco Tolomei, and finely restored. The original architectural complex of Borgo Antico is characterized by a structure in bricks and stones, a tower and a square.
In the inside, you can enjoy the antique a frescos, the wooden hand painted ceilings, vintage furniture, while the external structure is connected to a modern swimming pool amongst the olive trees. Ancient and modern are well intertwined. The typical 18th century Tuscan architecture of the main villa fits perfectly with the modern day comforts.
The Fattoria is a holiday farm open to all guests: with its joyful geographical location, it is in the heart of the most traditional and important sights: like those of Medicei di Carmignano, Artiminio, Poggio a Caiano…, it is also a great starting point for a less touristic Tuscany, a Tuscany that still needs to be discovered and unveiled…
- FROM MILAN and ROME: take the Milan - Naples A1 motorway direction Firenze.
- When you have reached Firenze Nord, follow the indications direction Pisa.
- Continue on the A11 motorway and exit at Prato Ovest toll booth.
- Continue on the SP 126 street for about 5 Km following directions for Montemurlo - Vaiano - Vernio.
- When you reach a roundabout, take the third exit and continue on Viale Chang Zhou.
- Continue on VialeDinh Nam and after about 1,8 Km turn right on Via Montalese.
- Continue on Via Montalese until you see a sign to enter directly on the private street that will bring you to Fattoria Casalbosco.
